Doug Eaddy, an accomplished designer and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience, is committed to pushing the boundaries of creativity in Artistic/Creative Direction, Graphic Design, Advertising, Branding, and Brand Strategy. His unique perspective in design, influenced by his background in Architecture, sets him apart. He is a graduate of the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Visual Arts program and holds a Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University. Doug currently serves as the Art Director for Midlands Technical College’s Marketing and Communications Department. In this role, he plays a key part in producing graphic and marketing communications to boost college enrollment and foster business partnerships.
Previously, Doug’s expertise was garnered as a designer for the South Carolina Education Lottery, where he designed various advertising campaigns and collaborated with licensed properties such as Warner Brothers, Square Enix, Hasbro, Dick Clark Rockin’ New Year’s, and Polaris. He also led the design efforts for branding and print campaigns for Pick 3 and Pick 4
Fireball games, Player’s Club, Tiny Stories, and Cash Pop. His contributions to multiple ticket designs resulted in over 200 million in sales, including the popular Clemson and Carolina Jackpot campaign. Doug was also able to design 15+ advertising campaigns that helped generate a 3 Billion dollar growth in the agency during his tenure.
Currently, Doug’s expertise garnered as a designer for Midlands Technical College, where he was apart of the team that concept and help concept enrollment commercials that won multiple advertising awards and concepted and developed interior murals that won multiple national collegiate awards. Notable clients of Doug’s design studio, Blaze Design Studio,LLC, include Grammy Award Winning Recording Artist Kendrick Lamar, Renowned National Recording Artist Wale, and award-winning Pattern Magazine. Doug’s mission is to utilize his creative talents and dedication to excellence to help create visuals and strategies that help brands see a better version of themselves to confidently share their story with the world.
